Sitting On Telephone LinesWe're sitting on telephone lines  up in the sky,  the only stable ground  for conversations like ours.   
The world changes too fast  and letters take too long.  By the time you start college  I'll be reading about  last month's jazz.   
I don't want that.   
I'd like to pretend  we're still bound  by the same sea,  that it's just a matter  of seven numbers  and  we'd be talking again.   
I'm pretending you're  taking a hundred-year long bath  as I stand in the bookstore,  waiting.

Lovin' the Lib

Am currently staying in the Main Library where there is (omg!) wireless internet connection. ;D The only downside to this is that you have to pay when you charge the battery of your laptop--20 pesos an hour. And that the wireless internet goes wonky every so often. Or at least I've configured and re-configured the internet options of my laptop for at least five times and it still doesn't work. I seriously do not know what to do. I had people look at my settings and they said that they were fine. oO;;

The other downside is that I can't access Y!M or Youtube (I just checked). They block the sites. xD Well, I can understand that. At least they don't block dA.

In other news, we got our exam results yesterday. I got a 90%. 1.25, woohoo!

In other other news, I'm flying back to Cebu on Friday... but I haven't booked the flight yet. zOMG. XD I have to do it by tomorrow, at least.

I love the library services here. We've got access to subscription-based online journals! How cool is that? :D :D Lol, I feel like such a nerd.

I'm staying at the library right now doing my research for English 10. We have to write a report based on the topics we chose. I chose Single Mothers in the Philippines. Now, this would be such a fruitful venture if only I actually got some bleeding articles. Unfortunately, people seem to be close-mouthed about that topic here, even online. I get a lot of American single mothers but nearly nothing about Filipina single mothers. In any case, I managed to locate some articles. I'm going to read through them later.

Okay, end rambling. :|
